Everything you need to know about listing your events

Quick Start: Creating an event takes about 5 minutes. You'll need your event details, location, ticket pricing, and at least one image.

What You'll Need

Event Details

Event title - Make it clear and descriptive
Date and time - When does your event happen?
Category - Help attendees find your event

Location

Venue name - Where is the event?
Full address - City, state, and venue details
This helps with local discovery

Tickets & Pricing

Set ticket types (General, VIP, Early Bird, etc.)
Choose your price - you set what you earn
Define ticket quantities and availability

Event Media

Upload an eye-catching event flyer
Add additional photos (optional)
Include a YouTube video preview (optional)

Setting Up Tickets

You can create multiple ticket types for each event. Each ticket type has:

Name
e.g., General Admission, VIP, Early Bird, Student
Price
Set your price - the display price includes fees so customers know exactly what they'll pay
Quantity
How many tickets of this type are available
Sales Window
When tickets go on sale and when sales end
Free Tickets
Toggle to offer free tickets (great for community events)

Recurring Events

Perfect for weekly classes, monthly meetups, or regular performances. Set up once and we'll automatically create events on your schedule.

Weekly

Monthly

Custom

Recurring events share the same details but have individual ticket sales tracking.

Event Visibility

Public Event

Visible to everyone on Concertlands. Shows up in search results, category pages, and can be shared publicly.

Private Event

Only accessible via direct link. Perfect for invite-only events, members-only gatherings, or soft launches.

Best Practices

Include what attendees will experience, who's performing, and any special highlights. Use the rich text editor to format your content.

Your event flyer is the first thing people see. Use a clear, professional image that represents your event well.

Match your ticket count to your venue capacity. You can always add more tickets later if needed.

Consider offering early bird pricing or multiple ticket tiers (GA, VIP) to appeal to different audiences.
